my2cents...hiding His Word
I'm sure we're all familiar with the song, "This Little Light of Mine." It's a great tune, and one that is a favorite among young kids, plus it has a great message..."I'm gonna' tell everyone the good news about Jesus." When we sing this song we never think about hiding the teachings of Jesus, we always think about spreading His word. Did you know there is one place we should be hiding His Word?
Psalm 119:9-11 says, "How can a young man keep his way pure. By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart. Do not let me stray from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you." Huh?
Consider this...if you really want to let your little light shine, you've gotta' hide His words in your heart. Do this and your life will become a beacon of light for people lost in sin.
